Uploading and posting information on the Site:

At the time you register for a 250 Mils account, you will choose and provide us with an email address and password. When you upload a design, post a comment or message on the Site, provide information in connection with features such as fan clubs, wish lists, forums, member profiles, reviews and recommendation your user name may be visible to other users.

Additionally, if your comment or message contains personally identifiable information and is posted by you in a page that is accessible to the public, third parties may make note of the information and you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties as a result. Any content or information you upload that is visible to third parties may be read, collected, and used by others who access them. Our blog is managed by a third party application, Squarespace, and does not require you to register to post a comment to a post. Commenting is moderated by 250 Mils blog administrators and is subject to approval before appearing on the site. You will need to contact 250 Mils if you want the personal information that was posted to the comments section removed. What information do we collect? Information provided by you:

You may provide us with certain personally identifiable information when you:

Does 250 Mils disclose the information it collects to outside parties?

Generally, 250 Mils does not share personally identifiable information about you with other people or non-affiliated companies without your consent except that:

In the event that 250 Mils is acquired by or merges with another company, 250 Mils reserves the right to transfer, in connection with such acquisition or merger, all information we have collected from our users. You will be notified via email and/or a prominent notice on our Site of any change in ownership or uses of your personally identifiable information, as well as any choices you may have regarding your personally identifiable information.

250 Mils may disclose non-personally-identifiable information to third parties in aggregate form or to potential business partners and investors, in each instance in accordance with GDPR.

250 Mils will obtain assurances from its agents that they will only process the data for the limited and specified purposes consistent with the consent provided by the individual and will safeguard personal information consistently with this Policy. The assurance may include: a contract binding the agent to provide at least the same level of protection as is required by the relevant Privacy Shield Principles or CCPA, as applicable, being subject to GDPR, or Privacy Shield certification by the agent.

250 Mils LLC utilizes the YouTube API and Services. You agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms), Privacy Policy (https://www.google.com/policies/privacy), and API Services Terms of Service (https://developers.google.com/youtube/terms/api-services-terms-of-service) when engaging with YouTube content, data, and services through the PosterMyWall platform. You may, of course, decline to share any or certain items of personally-identifiable information with 250 Mils LLC, in which case we may be unable to provide you with all features of the PosterMyWall platform.

Advertising:

250 Mils may use third party service providers to place ads on our behalf across the internet and sometimes on the Site. They may collect anonymous information about your visits to our Site, and your interaction with our products and services. They may also use information about your visits to this and other websites to target advertisements for goods and services. This anonymous information is collected through the use of a web beacon, which is industry standard technology used by most major sites. 250 Mils does not differentiate or discriminate between how it treats its end users, whether or not they exercise their rights under the CCPA. This means we do not charge different prices or rates for goods or services, including through the use of discounts or other benefits, imposing of penalties, or providing a different level or quality of goods or services to you, based upon your exercise of rights under the CCPA.

Social Media Features and Widgets:

Our Site includes social media features, such as the Facebook Like button, and widgets, such as the "ShareThis" button or interactive mini-programs that run on our Site. You may be able to access third party websites directly from the Site. However, this Privacy Policy does not apply when you access third party websites. Accessing, Changing, deleting, or updating my information:

Most of your account information can be changed in the "Edit Profile" section of the Site. After receiving proof of your identity, we will provide the information to you, and you may request that we delete or change any or all of the information. We will respond to your request to access within thirty (30) days of receipt. We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

Unless stated otherwise, our current Privacy Policy applies to all information that we have about you and your account.

We cannot respond to your request to access or delete information unless we are able to both verify your identity or authority to make the request and confirm the personal information relates to you and/or your household. You can also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We may deny deletion requests in whole or in part as permitted or required by applicable law. We do not charge a different price or rate or provide a different level or quality of goods or services based on your exercising your CCPA rights. We do not sell personal information.

Changes to this privacy policy

250 Mils reserves the right to make changes to this privacy policy. We will notify you in accordance with our User Agreement. If we make any material changes, we will notify you by email or by means of a notice on this Site prior or concurrent to the change becoming effective. It is strongly recommended to check this page often, referring to the date of the last modification listed at the bottom. Your continued use of the Site will be subject to the then-current Privacy Policy.

Should the changes affect processing activities performed on the basis of the User's consent, the Owner shall collect new consent from the User, where required.

The current version of the 250 Mils Privacy Policy is adopted and effective as of February 9, 2024.
