September 16, 23 and 30 (Oct. 7-Make Up) Parks and Rec Tennis Clinic Thanks to all our members who have volunteered to share their love of tennis with beginners in the Culpeper community. Even a few rainouts didn't stop us from having fun and developing new players! |
Results Co-Ed Doubles Tournament Congratulations to all participants of our Round Robin Doubles Tournament, which officially kicked off our Fall season! The event was a wonderful success, with great competition, enjoyment for everyone, and delicious catering by Panera Bread. Special recognition goes to our champions, Susan Button and Preston Will, for their outstanding performance. |
Tennis Ettiquette Consider the following... We hope you’re enjoying the complimentary water available in the cooler outside the court entrance! We’re delighted to offer this small refreshment to help our members and guests stay hydrated—because we all forget our water now and then. If you’ve enjoyed this amenity, we invite you to “pay it forward” by bringing a pack of water to share. Together, we can keep this thoughtful gesture flowing for everyone!

Scott Fisher We are pleased to recognize Scott Fisher as our Member of the Month. A long-standing member of our club, Scott contributes significantly behind the scenes to support both our club and the broader community. On the court, he is a familiar presence in our Wednesday night co-ed league, and he is equally active with his group of outdoor players at CCHS.
Scott also generously volunteers his time for our annual Ron Hutchins Clinic and assists with numerous social events. Most recently, he has taken on the role of coordinating the Culpeper Parks and Recreation Free Tennis Clinic, a responsibility he embraced with enthusiasm. Under his leadership, the program has thrived, successfully introducing many new participants to the sport we all enjoy.
Outside of tennis, Scott enjoys visiting local breweries. He and his wife Mary are proud parents of two daughters, both of whom have recently married. Please join us in congratulating Scott and be sure to say hello the next time you see him! |
 | PATA Collaboration We're excited to announce another year of collaboration with PATA, a Charlottesville based tennis organization. Their events take place in the Charlottesville region and we're pleased that they've added Battlefield Tennis as one of the options. Our inaugural event will be Triples, a fast paced tennis game involving 3 players on each team. New to triples? Curious about the format? Reach out and we'll fill you in. Then, grab 3 tennis friends and join in the fun! |
 See you on the courts!
