Start by opening PosterMyWall’s editor, where you can easily find the ‘Slideshow’ feature under the ‘More’ section on the left bar. This tool lets you combine lyrics, images, and video elements into one seamless slideshow, giving each line the attention it deserves.
Adding text, images, and video is as easy as a few clicks, so you can keep your creative flow going without the technical frustrations.
2. Add and customize slides
Like every lyric has its rhythm, each line can have its slide. Add text, stock photos, or your media to each one, and then bring them to life with customizations. The slideshow feature makes it simple to:
- Trim, mute, replace, or add effects to each slide, ensuring every lyric syncs with your song.
- Set durations for each lyric by adjusting the time beside the slide. Think of this as your visual tempo—make each line linger or flow based on the rhythm and feel of the song.
- Add intro delays so your slideshow doesn’t start right at the beginning of the video. If you want a build-up before the lyrics appear, this feature has you covered.
3. Perfect the timing to match your song’s beat

Use the clock icon to set how long each line stays visible, making you precisely sync each slide to the beat. You can set it in seconds. It is set to 0 seconds by default.

Under the Slides settings, explore transition options like Fade, Block, Shrink etc to enhance the movement between lines.
You can also set Intro & Outro transitions to start strong and end on a high note. Adjust the speed to match the song’s energy such as laid-back and soulful or upbeat and fast-paced.
5. Add audio to make a music video
You can also add music to your lyrics video directly from the PosterMyWall editor. On the left side panel, click on ‘My Uploads.’ Hit the ‘Upload media’ button and choose the audio clip you’d like to add.
Once uploaded, your audio clips will be stored in the ‘Uploaded’ section under the ‘My Audio’ tab, making them easy to access for future projects. You can even organize your clips into collections for quick retrieval, ensuring your creative process is smooth and efficient!
If you prefer, you can also record your own audio directly within the editor. Click ‘Record media’ and use the red microphone button to start recording. You can pause anytime with the pause button, resume with the play button, and click ‘Done’ when you’re finished.
Note: If it’s your first time using the Audio and Video Recorder, you’ll need to allow PosterMyWall access to your webcam. Just approve this request to start recording your audio!
