Effortlessly run digital display content with Drip Boards

Drip Boards is fully integrated with PosterMyWall. This means you can create and edit your PosterMyWall designs effortlessly without ever leaving the Drip Boards interface. Cool, right?
We invited Stephen Gilroy, one of Drip Boards’ founders, to show you how to create and run display content using Drip Boards. Spoiler: it’s super fast and easy!
Sign up for your Drip Boards account
The first step to creating and displaying gorgeous digital content using Drip Boards is to create an account and choose a plan that works for you.
Once you verify your email, and choose a plan (let’s say the monthly plan), you will need to enter your credit card information to start your free trial.
Manage your screen(s)
Now your new screen is ready to manage.
In your Dashboard, click ‘Manage’ under ‘Your new screen.’
Here, you can edit the screen, rename it, and so on. For example, if you’re planning on placing a screen behind your bar, you can rename the screen Behind the Bar. If you have a picture of the screen, you can also enter it here, which will change the default photo.
In case you’re managing several screens at different locations, you can also give your screen a location.
Create a new slide for your screen
You can create a new slide in two ways: choosing a file (image or video), or adding a link to your website.
For example, if you’re advertising your beer menu via digital signage, you can have a message that says ‘tap to show beer menu,’ which will load up the menu on your website.

Connect to PosterMyWall
In the left contextual bar, click ‘PosterMyWall,’ and then click the ‘Connect PosterMyWall’ button.
Here you can select from any of the digital signage content you have already created on PosterMyWall, or use the ‘Open PosterMyWall editor’ option. This option opens up the gallery, from where you can choose and customize new templates and create a new slide, or edit an existing one. You don’t need to visit the website at all!
What’s more, if you need to make an edit, you can edit directly on Drip Boards, and save your changes. Add the design to the Media Library.
Add your design to a screen
Now that the content from PosterMyWall is in your Media Library, you can easily add it to one of your screens.
Click the menu on the top-right of the design in the Media Library, click ‘Add to [your screen name],’ change the name of the slide, and set a duration for the slide to display.
Check the box labeled ‘Show on Webpage Menu’ to get a printable QR code to make your menu mobile-friendly. You can also set it to ‘expire,’ which means if you are using this slide for an event, you can make sure that it is removed from the board once that event is over.
Click ‘Save,’ and you are ready to go.
In order to add the design to your screen, click ‘Create’ to create a shortcode that you can use to set the screen up.
Cast to a screen using the Drip Boards app
The Drip Boards app is an Android TV application, which works on any Android smart TV like HiSense or Sony. Or with any screen that has Chromecast.
You can download it from Google Playstore.
Open up the boards you want to cast on the app, rotate the screen, and enter in the shortcode that you generated earlier. Choose ‘Connect’, and you can see your board being displayed on the smart TV instantly.
Add more content to your board
You can choose to have multiple slides on your board or screen.
Go back into PosterMyWall, and choose another design from your My Stuff, or customize a new template in the Editor, and add it to the Media Library.
Save it to add it to the screen as before, and you will see the new slide play on the screen after the first slide’s set duration. Simple, isn’t it?
